Originally to celebrate the marraige of the crown prince of Bavaria, who later became King Louis I, to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen, Oktoberfest has morphed into one of if not the largest Beer festival in the world. With tents that hold upward of 6,000 people, and close to 2 million gallons of beer drank, it must be quite a sight to behold.

Oktoberfest is many in our Beer Department’s favorite time of year, so this year come celebrate with us. Our Upstairs will be decked out in full Oktoberfest decoration, and the tap list will not disappoint. Smokehouse Tailgate Grill will also be in attendance serving up some German inspired grub.

So get your Lederhosen out of storage, and come enjoy a grand time.
