DeCicco & Sons was founded in 1973 when John DeCicco. Sr. convinced his family to acquire a little grocery store in the Bronx, where he worked as a delivery boy. It all began at this storefront in the Bronx, offering a choice of high-quality food to its growing array of customers. For over 50 years, DeCicco & Sons has had a proud history of bringing the largest selection of high-quality food available to customers with a friendly, personal touch. This simple, unwavering mentality has enabled the company to expand throughout Putnam and Westchester Counties.
Today, their sons John Jr., Chris, and Joe Jr. operate ten stores in Ardsley, Armonk, Bedford, Brewster, Eastchester, Harrison, Larchmont, Millwood, Pelham, and Somers. The company is also involved in several civic and community-related events, regularly working with schools, town organizations, churches, and the Chamber of Commerce groups.
