Position Description:
The Baker is responsible for preparing baked goods based on established standards by measuring, mixing, and molding, producing a large variety of cookies, cakes, pastries and more. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality bakery offerings.

Your day-to-day:

• Producing high quality breads and pastries.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.

Bakery Team Member (in store)

Starting Rate: $16/hour

The Bakery Team member is responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Assisting customers with their bakery needs in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality bakery offerings.

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date products.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas according to DeCicco & Sons standards.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.

Cake Decorator

Starting Rate: based on experience

Position Description:
The primary responsibility of the Cake Decorator is to make cakes that are visually appealing as well as delicious! Attention to detail and a steady hand come together to produce custom cake orders for wedding cakes, birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cakes sold in store, etc. The cake decorator will work to fulfill special orders including specialty cakes. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality cake offerings.
